Caribbean Chit is excited to announce the launch of our brand-new website, caribbeanchit.com — a new central hub for Caribbean Carnival videos, J’ouvert footage, photography, events, news and original Caribbean content.
The new website brings together years of original Caribbean Chit content in one place while making it easier for visitors to discover Carnival events, explore our video archive, read Caribbean-related stories and find out what’s happening in the Caribbean community.
A New Home for Caribbean Carnival Videos
One of the biggest improvements to the new website is the way our Caribbean Carnival and J’ouvert videos are organized.
Over the years, Caribbean Chit has documented Carnival celebrations, J’ouvert, fetes and other Caribbean events across the United States and the Caribbean. The new website makes it easier to browse this growing collection and find videos by event and category.
The site also features a Top Videos section, highlighting some of the most popular and interesting videos from the Caribbean Chit collection.
Our focus continues to be on original, long-form Carnival content that allows viewers to experience more of the event rather than simply watching a short social media clip. From J’ouvert paint, powder and oil to Carnival parades, fetes and celebrations, the website will continue to grow as new footage is added.
The Caribbean Chit Website and Patreon
The new website is also integrated with Patreon, allowing us to use the website as the primary home for our member video content while Patreon continues to manage membership access.
Paid Patreon members will have access to the full content available to their membership, while visitors and free Patreon members will only be able to view content designated as free.
This means that Patreon members can now browse and watch their Caribbean Chit content through a much more organized website rather than having to search through individual Patreon posts.
If you’re already a paid Patreon member, your membership remains the key to accessing the full collection of member content.
If you’re currently a free member or simply following Caribbean Chit, you can also join the paid membership to gain access to the full member content available through the site.
Discover Caribbean Events With “What’s On”
Another major addition to the website is What’s On, a free community event section designed to help people discover Caribbean events and activities.
Event promoters, organizers, businesses and members of the community can submit their upcoming events for free.
That includes Caribbean Carnival events, J’ouvert celebrations, fetes, parties, cultural events and other activities taking place throughout the Caribbean community.
The goal is to make What’s On a useful destination for anyone looking for Caribbean events while also giving event organizers another way to promote their activities and reach the Caribbean Chit audience.
Caribbean News, Stories and Features
The new website also features a dedicated Blog section.
The blog will allow Caribbean Chit to cover a wider range of topics beyond the videos we produce. Visitors can expect Caribbean-related news, stories, features, Carnival coverage, cultural topics and other interesting content from around the Caribbean and its diaspora.
As the site continues to grow, the blog will become an important part of the Caribbean Chit platform.
Caribbean Carnival Photography
A Photos section is also currently under construction.
Once completed, visitors will be able to browse photographs captured by Caribbean Chit at Carnival celebrations, J’ouvert events and other Caribbean activities, with the ability to purchase high-resolution photographs directly through the website.
This will provide another way for visitors to enjoy and own some of the moments captured through Caribbean Chit’s photography.

For years, Caribbean Chit has focused on documenting Caribbean Carnival, J’ouvert, music, parties, culture and the people who make these events special.
The new website brings these different parts of Caribbean Chit together in one place.
