Unless otherwise stated, all photographs, videos, graphics, text, logos, and other content displayed on this website are owned by Caribbean Chit and/or its contributors.
No ownership rights are transferred to users through viewing, purchasing, downloading, or accessing any content. Copyright in all images and videos remains with Caribbean Chit at all times.
Public Event Media
Many photographs and videos published on this website are captured at public events, including Carnival celebrations, J’ouvert events, parades, concerts, festivals, and other public gatherings.
By attending public events, individuals acknowledge that photography and videography may occur and that their likeness may be captured as part of the event environment. If you believe content featuring you should be reviewed for removal, get in touch through the contact form. We are not obliged to remove content lawfully captured at a public event, but we review every request on its own merits.
Purchases, Payment and Delivery
Everything sold on this website is a digital download. Nothing is printed, packed or shipped. Prices are shown in US dollars, and the price you see at checkout is the price you pay.
Payments are handled by our payment providers — WooCommerce Payments for card payments and PayPal for PayPal payments. We never see or store your card number. Charges from this store appear on your statement as CARIBBEANCHIT.COM.
Delivery is immediate. Once payment clears, the download link appears on the order confirmation page, in your order confirmation email, and under My account → Orders. Download links are signed and short-lived, so a purchased file cannot be passed around after the sale; if a link expires or the downloads on an order are used up, email us the order number and we will reissue it free of charge.
Refunds
If you have not downloaded the file, you can have your money back — ask within 14 days of the order and we refund it in full, no reason needed. Once a file has been downloaded the sale is final, except where the file is faulty, the wrong photograph or size was delivered, or you were charged twice or without authorization; in those cases we refund in full or supply a working file, whichever you prefer.

Digital Downloads License
When purchasing or downloading videos, photographs, or other digital media from this website, you are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license for personal, non-commercial use only. This license does not transfer ownership of the content.
With a photograph you buy, personal use includes:
- viewing and keeping the file for private enjoyment
- printing it for your own home, or as a gift
- posting it on your own personal social media accounts — a credit to Caribbean Chit is appreciated
- sharing it privately with family and friends
Videos are licensed for private viewing only. Public screening, broadcast, re-upload to any platform, and posting to social media all require written permission — get in touch and we will sort it out quickly.
Prohibited Uses
Unless expressly authorized in writing, users may not:
- resell, redistribute, sublicense, or commercially exploit content
- upload content to stock libraries, print-on-demand services, or merchandise of any kind
- use content in paid advertising, or in any way that promotes a business, band, promoter, venue or event
- post content from a business, brand or promotional account, as opposed to a personal one
- re-upload video content to YouTube, Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, Patreon, Vimeo, X (Twitter), or any other platform
- claim ownership of any content
- remove watermarks, copyright notices, or identifying marks
- edit content in a manner that falsely implies ownership or authorship
- share purchased download links with others
Unauthorized use may result in termination of access and legal action where permitted by law. Commercial licensing is available — ask us, and it is usually straightforward.
